One of the co-ed boarding schools of choice for UK families across the north of England, Giggleswick encompasses the needs of all children, whatever their acadmeic level or ambition. Strong grades at A level and GCSE in recent years have given the school true academic integrity, though this school is about far more than grades. Sport, music and the the arts give children confidence to achieve in the classroom.
Life-long friendships are forged within this tolerant, inclusive, friendly, supportive boarding community. The school has a ‘happy’ feel to it with children smiling, even when visiting on a day with driving rain and a strong north wind. I get the feeling that a child who has been nurtured under the Giggleswick ‘umbrella’, will be truly well-equipped to cope with both life’s successes and its disappointments in future.
