Senior Associate Consultant
Rachel was persuaded to move into the independent sector, by her experience of finding boarding schools for her own three children; she understands how overwhelming it can be when navigating through the application process and wants to empower families to make this easier, and even enjoyable.
She has over sixteen years of advising parents on a British education for their child. In her professional experience she has managed the admissions departments of a number of independent boarding and day schools, and has placed children into British curriculum schools in the UK and overseas, as a senior consultant at a London education consultancy. She has been on the Leadership team at two schools, and has experience of working for a global school group and an International schools online directory.
Rachel always puts the child at the heart of any advice and guidance she gives families, getting to know the parents and the child well, so that the shortlist of schools reflects their academic ability, interests and family values. Her range of experience from nursery to sixth form proves invaluable in explaining the British system to overseas families relocating to the UK, and for those placing a family of children across different age groups. She has helped make successful scholarship and bursary applications and has particular knowledge of placing children with specific learning needs, creating alternative pathways for them to find academic success.
Rachel has a BA Hons from Warwick University and a Diploma in Admissions from AMCIS. She is currently studying a postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
