Ashville College

Insights from our team

Founded in 1877, Ashville provides an outstanding learning provision across the College, from Acorns Nursery, through to the Sixth Form.

Our 64-acre campus is located in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate and close to the Yorkshire Dales. Around 840 pupils on average attend each year, including approximately 100 boarders, and we are proud to welcome pupils from across the UK and around the world.

Ashville provides substantial facilities for pupils to practice and develop their abilities in the creative and performing arts.

Meal times are an important part of any pupil’s day. The Ashville catering team provides healthy and nutritious food that is served in the Senior School dining hall and the Prep-School hall. The menu changes daily and incorporates a selection of hot and cold dishes, salads, soups, breads, fruits and desserts.

Pupils sit together to eat, providing a ‘family-style’ dining experience. For any pupils who need to plan ahead with menu choices for dietary or health reasons, the four-week menu cycle is available to view in advance, at the start of each term.

Over 25 different sports are offered to pupils at Ashville and our Sports Centre, which underwent a £3.8 million refurbishment in 2017, is used by pupils of all ages
