Director of Consultancy & International Relations
Educated in the UK and Australia, for the last 25 years Jackie has been privileged to work with pupils and University students from around the world, who have ranged in age from 7 to 87 years old.
The daughter of a boarding school Headmaster, she has a lifelong insight into British boarding schools combined with a passion for promoting their benefits.
Prior to joining The Independent Education Consultants, Jackie worked at three UK boarding schools and for many years was the Overseas Registrar for a leading school in the north of England, travelling extensively in Europe and Asia and meeting numerous families in their home countries. Having lived in Australia for many years and with her grown-up twin sons living in Japan, she understands first-hand the particular challenges by overseas families when seeking a UK school and brings this empathy and understanding to her work.
She enjoys building close working relationships with each family who come to her for advice. She thrives on the challenge of finding the school that is right for each individual child, both academically and socially, and taking into consideration their personality and talents whether they are in the classroom, the sporting field, the stage – or are yet to be discovered.
